I take commissions for both scarves and wall hangings.

In either case, I discuss your needs and taste. If you are considering commissioning a wall hanging, I visit your house for a sense of the space. I make some preliminary design sketches, and discuss them with you. Once you've decided on a design, I start work.

Wall hangings can take some time to make: it's a long process that begins with selecting the yarn and dyeing it. Once it's ready, I weave it, usually using wire as part of the fabric of the wall hanging.

Scarves take a surprising amount of time to make too: as with wall hangings, they are hand-woven, but are made from much finer yarn. I sign each scarf: it's a wearable art piece.
