About Heidi Lichterman

Heidi Lichterman, Textile Artist

I am an Artist who creates textile wall hangings and wearable art in abstract patterns and also paints large acrylics  inspired by nature, out of pleasure and for clients worldwide. Originally from the US, I now live close to Cambridge, UK, in a tranquil, English village. When I am not weaving or painting in my studio, I love to ride my horse.

Wall hangings are my passion. They are usually large and suitable for use in a corporate settings or large private houses and are made using silk and wire. My scarves are individually designed and are woven from silk. Each is a signed artwork.

I have exhibited internationally and my work is in major corporate and public collections around the world, including Tokyo, Singapore, Djakarta, Hong Kong, throughout the USA, and many locations in England.

I am a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and was Chairman for two terms, and annually I co-curate the Society’s Show.
